These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Albert Chauffeur (“we”, “our”, “us”), a licensed private hire chauffeur service operating in London, United Kingdom. By making a booking, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide pre-booked private hire chauffeur services in accordance with UK private hire regulations. All journeys must be booked in advance. We do not accept street hails.

  • Airport transfers
  • Executive and corporate travel
  • Private tours
  • Event and VIP transportation
  • Hourly and full-day chauffeur hire

2. Licensing & Compliance

  • All vehicles are licensed as Private Hire Vehicles (PHVs) and operated in accordance with Transport for London (TfL) and relevant local authority regulations.
  • All chauffeurs are fully licensed, vetted, and DBS-checked.
  • Vehicles are regularly inspected, insured, and maintained to statutory and company standards.

3. Bookings & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion, including where incorrect or misleading information is provided.
  • You are responsible for ensuring all booking details (pickup location, time, contact details, flight number) are accurate.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are quoted in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may be fixed or time-based depending on the service booked.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
  • Waiting time beyond free allowance
  • Route changes or additional stops
  • Parking, tolls, or congestion charges
  • Late-night, holiday, or special event travel

Full or partial payment may be required in advance.

5. Waiting Time Policy

  • Airport Pickups: First 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time from flight landing.
  • Private Jet Pickups: First 30 minutes complimentary.
  • Non-Airport Pickups: First 15 minutes complimentary.
  • Waiting time beyond the free allowance is charged at the applicable hourly rate and calculated in 15-minute increments.

6. Cancellations & Amendments

  • Cancellation terms vary depending on service type and notice period.
  • Cancellations made within the specified notice window may incur charges up to 100% of the booking value.
  • Amendments requested close to pickup time are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

7. Delays, Traffic & Force Majeure

  • While we aim for punctuality, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, road closures, weather conditions, accidents, or events beyond our control.
  • In the event of force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to complete or reschedule the service.

8. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Wear seatbelts at all times
  • Behave respectfully towards chauffeurs and vehicles
  • Not consume illegal substances or smoke inside vehicles
  • Be responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required

We reserve the right to terminate a journey without refund if passenger behaviour is unsafe or unlawful.

9. Luggage & Personal Belongings

  • Luggage must fit safely within the vehicle.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle, though reasonable efforts will be made to return lost property.
  • Any return of lost property may incur a handling or delivery fee.

10. Child Seats

  • Child seats may be provided upon request, subject to availability.
  • Customers are responsible for requesting appropriate seats at the time of booking.

11. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, missed flights, or business losses unless caused by our negligence.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for general information only.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.
  • Misuse of the website may result in access being restricted.

13. Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy, which form part of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
